“Ambience: Farmhouse Chicago has a warm, casual feeling, apparently achieved by scavenging items from other Chicago restaurants. The brick walls are painted white and the floors are a dark hardwood. Farmhouse paints adorn the walls, as do baskets of flowers. The taller tables near the bar are metal. It all gives the restaurant a good vibe. Tables outside add to it, though sitting on Chicago Avenue with the “L” station overhead isn’t my idea of outdoor dining.”
