Chef Eric Mansavage and Rob Diaz came up with a dream, a dream to showcase one of the greatest culinary minds in the world. Seeing as Farmhouse Tavern is dedicated to celebrating the four states that touch our Great Lake Michigan, we thought it pertinent to honor the culinary history of the region.

Our first dinner will be a retrospective of the culinary mecca known as Traverse City, Michigan on April 1!

We will take you back in time to 1974, for a 12 course tasting menu of the areas finest offerings. The meal will be paired with the finest beers and wines that Michigan has to offer.

Be prepared for this wonderful evening! It shall be memorable! We will have a video documentary up soon!

Menu and Pairings up soon, limited to 50 guest, $74 per person, does not include tax or gratuity. Join us April 1. WE WILL GET YOU DRUNK!

Find out what the folks of Traverse City, Michigan, have to say about Traverse City 1974 in The Ticker of Traverse City. Eater Chicago is also intrigued by this 12-course homage to Traverse City. The event sold out quickly, but stay tuned for photos and videos to learn more about this ongoing series where we’ll be featuring great cities throughout the Midwest.
